USAL esPro Writing Spanish Test in Spanish, aligned to all levels of the CEFR*. Ideal for candidates looking to prove their Spanish language proficiency for academic and/or work purposes.

About the exam:

  • Developed by the Universidad de Salamanca, the world’s most prominent institution for testing Spanish as a foreign language
  • Paper-based
  • Duration 45 minutes
  • Assesses writing skills, as well as command of grammar and vocabulary
  • Exam is divided into 2 parts; Email and Report or Letter


Email

  • Write a short message of 50 – 60 words using the information provided
  • Cover all points provided in the instructions


Report or Letter

  • Write a longer text of 180 – 200 words in the appropriate style
  • Cover all points provided in the instructions

*Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), developed by the Council of Europe, is widely used to describe levels of language proficiency.

Requirements

  • Statement of Result (SoR) & e-certificate are sent by email or through the Test Centre in 10 business days
  • Digital badges are available on the same day as results.
  • Hard-copy certificates are sent either to the candidate or to the Test Centre shortly after results are released.
  • Test Reports displaying the candidate’s overall score, as well as a breakdown of scores for each skill are released upon completing the exam.
